I didn't build just a platform. I built what the platform makes possible.

The Blank Canvas

The first time I sat in a whiteboarding session with Soum and the Studio team, we weren't writing code. We were asking a harder question: what should this even become?

That was April 2022. I joined as a Manager, stepping into the Atom project with no playbook, no precedent, and no shortage of opinions about what we could build. Most onboarding stories are about shadowing and settling in. Mine started with R&D before the first month was out. Looking back, that says everything about what kind of place Tredence is — you don't wait to be given a problem. You find one worth solving.

From Blank Canvases to Architecture

What began as a foundational platform evolved into something far more ambitious — a feature store integrated into a system capable of creating or reusing solutions end-to-end. Pipelines, ML models, full-stack applications, infrastructure provisioning: one platform, any requirement, faster. Not every idea made it. Some we killed after a week of testing. Some we rebuilt three times. That process of discarding and rebuilding wasn't failure — it was the actual work. Soum and Chinmaya held us to a standard before every release that made comfortable shortcuts impossible. I'm grateful for that, even when it didn't feel like it.

Then came GenAI. Rapid experimentation, dead ends, and then — IRIS. One engine, multiple use cases. I watched it evolve from a basic GenAI solution into a full Agentic AI platform that doesn't just tell you what the data says, but why — and what to do next.

The clearest proof is the S&OP Command Center. Autonomous agents backed by ML models continuously ingest, analyze, and interpret demand, supply, and inventory data. They collaborate, identify risks, run scenarios, and recommend optimized actions in real time. Supply chain decisions that once took days now happen before the problem compounds. That's not a feature. That's a shift in how businesses operate — and it started in a Studio whiteboard session not unlike that first one in 2022.

What I build impacts lives. That's not a line. It's the reason I show up.

The Person Behind the Platform

Outside of work, I follow geopolitics the way some people follow sports — obsessively, with strong opinions and genuine curiosity about how the world's fault lines shape what technology gets built and why. That same restlessness carries into everything I do at Tredence. I make data do interesting things, while genuinely enjoying the process.

Every GOAT has a GOAT maker. Soum and Chinmaya gave me the foundational rigour — the sessions that sharpened ideas under pressure, the standard that made every release mean something. What Tredence gave me was the room to grow past the foundation: from Manager to L5 Senior Manager, from one project to architecting platforms that other teams now build their futures on. That progression wasn't handed to me. But the environment that made it possible? That was.

The BEACON tenet I return to most is ownership — not as a slogan, but as a practice. It means you don't wait for clarity. You create it. The Leadership Award in 2025 wasn't a goal I chased. It was what happened when I stayed deeply in the work and brought others along with me.

GOAT isn't a destination. It's a question you keep answering, every single day: are you the person who takes the hard thing and sees it through?

Four years of platforms, pivots, and late nights later — I still am.

Pick Your Battle.
