Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play an active role in facilitating data usability, data standardisation and user acceptance testing initiatives; development and deployment of standard and non-standard metrics; and creating analytical solutions. You will do all this by leveraging your technical skills, business acumen, and creativity to extract, analyse and build analytics-ready datasets that can surface insights and key business metrics, leading to better decision and profitability for the clients.

  • Interact with onsite team as well as client on daily/weekly basis to provide updates
  • Be involved in building the organization through pre-sales and operational support, as need be

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelors in Engineering or Masters in Statistics/Economics
  • 2-4 years of database experience with advanced SQL skills
  • Hands-on experience researching and manipulating complex and large data sets (both distributed and non-distributed)
  • Proficient in one or more scripting languages, such as Python or Scala
  • Experience working with complex analytical tools, such as SAS or R
  • Experience with data visualisation tools, such as Tableau, Spot fire, Qlikview
  • Experience in statistical techniques such as Regression, Clustering and Time Series Forecasting
  • Proven ability to deep-dive and understand the data and leverage creative thinking and problem-solving skills to create new data models
  • Strong understanding with data infrastructure, data warehouse, and/or data engineering

Job Description

As a Data Scientist with Tredence, you will play a key role in translating data into insights for our clients. You will design, develop and implement processes and framework that will help our clients make sense of the data they generate, and consume the insights to make informed decisions.

The ideal candidate will

  • Design and develop solutions for insight generation and improved analytics consumption within the client organization
  • Combine advanced analytical skills with business acumen to drive key metrics and improved revenue for the client
  • Develop highly scalable advanced analytics tools using machine learning, data regression, and rule-based models
  • Work across teams to develop, refine and scale data management and analytics process and frameworks
  • Catalyse the analytical maturity of the client by suggesting, collecting and synthesizing requirements and developing self-service scalable solutions
  • Work as an extension to the analytics teams to implement algorithms that power user and developer-facing products
  • Be accountable for measuring and optimizing the quality of the algorithms
  • Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments

Eligibility Criteria

  • BE/ B. Tech degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field with 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, PHP and shell scripts
  • Hands-on experience working on recommendation, targeting, and ranking systems

  • Strong SFDC-related technical skill
